About MaxAroma:
MaxAroma.com is a New York-based company that specializes in supplying some of the world's most famous fragrances, colognes, and skincare products. The supplier carries women's, men's, and unisex scents.
Pros: The website has a variety of scents for every type of wearer. Other than a mass collection of fragrances and colognes, the company also sells cleansers, exfoliators, body cream, aftershave lotion, candles, and other scented items. One of the great things about the website is the neatly organized brand listing. This can be found on the top of the page, under the "brand" tab and it will take customers to a list of all the brands the supplier is carrying. Another great feature includes an extensive listing of similar products created by the same brand; when a product is selected, a suggestion list appears on the left side with other products by the brand, which helps the customer explore other options.
Con: The overall website comes off as a bit boring and the functionality is very limited. Some photos of the fragrance bottles are blurry, washed out, or darker than the others. The images make the site look unprofessional and is not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Design-wise, many of the colors do not cohesively work together. When a product is chosen, the green "add to cart" button, the red discount text, and the flashing yellow dot featured on some products clash. The "Discovery Bundles" tab only features one to ten bundles with no unique photos or description attached to any of the products.
