Traveling is so much fun. I realize for people whose jobs take them on the road often, it's probably a different experience. My friend's husband works for an insurance company and he has the "east coast" region. I know he has difficulty because of weather and flight delays. And I heard they got bed bugs from a stay at a hotel in New York. Ugh. It's also hard on Nancy because she's left with the kids alone while he's gone. Then when he's back home, she winds up having to do a lot of other stuff for him to help him get ready for his next trip. For us, however, we don't get to travel too often. When we plan a trip, that's when the excitement starts for me. I like to map out where we will go. I enjoy figuring out different sights, museums, and other places of interest. Even if we're staying in the states, there's always something unique to explore. We are lucky that our great country is so diverse, culture-wise and terrain-wise. This summer, however, we are planning a trip abroad. We'll start in England, then travel to France, Spain, Italy, and back through Amsterdam on our way home.
