I came across MelissaAndDoug.com while looking for a toy stuffed giraffe for my granddaughter. I was very impressed with the selection of stuffed animals and my granddaughter absolutely loves the giraffe that I bought for her. Since then, I have been back to this site several times to pick out gifts to give as birthday presents, Christmas presents, and at baby showers. I especially like that the site offers items that I don't see at the retail stores.

You'll find puzzles, stuffed animals, arts & crafts, classic toys, food play, educational toys, pretend play, dolls, trains and so much more! Some of the items can be personalized which makes for a very special gift for a little boy or girl. One category that I'm very impressed with is items for kids with special needs. Having a niece who is visually impaired, I'm always looking for toys and such that are safe for her to play with, yet still offer stimulation and fun.
Thumbs down: Although I'm very impressed with the products and will continue to shop at MelissaAndDoug.com, I do get a bit frustrated with the "promos". I dislike having to type in special codes in order to get free shipping or a certain percent off. In addition, the site needs to stay current. There's still information about purchasing for Christmas of 2013 on the site.
