Straight up, without conceit, I work in the tech industry and I make great money. It's challenging work, long hours, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It's a lesson my boyfriend and I both take to heart-we like to surprise each other with little gifts like cologne or cookware, sometimes clothes. My boyfriend is really into trendy fashion so another friend suggested I look at HBX.com for gift ideas. I wish I could say I was impressed, but honestly, they have some really overpriced, pretentious stuff. Just because I have money, honey, doesn't mean I am going to stupidly overspend for a $120 T-shirt or a $165 hoodie. And some of them are borderline offensive, with F-bombs all over them. Guess there are a lot of people forking over money for "curated" merchandise, but not me.
