About Everlast:
I've tried just about every exercise trend that's come along. I belonged to a popular brand name gym for a few years and their classes were always progressive. I must admit that I did not try the pole-dancing class. I was too embarrassed. I didn't want to practice being "sexy" in a room full of women. I know it requires great strength to climb the pole and hang upside down, etc., but I'm fine using traditional weights or just plain old club dancing. I like the cardio dance classes, but not the ones that are heavy on the salsa. I feel like I look too uncoordinated. But I absolutely have appreciated the yoga and Pilates. The core-strengthening programs are so beneficial. When I don't keep up, I can really tell the difference in my muscles. I also really like kickboxing classes too. Those really toned my hips and thighs with all the kicking. I hurt my shoulder a while back when we were doing "air" punches. I more prefer to have a bag or some type of resistance. It feels safer, in a way. Lately, the classes have been tedious. One instructor is using "steps" again, which I don't care for. I decided to get a bag to hang in my garage. I know I'll use it. I was going to the sports mall to get an Everlast, but I checked online and there they were. Everlast.com had the bag I wanted (70 pounds) and it would get shipped to my door.
