About Chinese Laundry:
About three years ago, Sal (my boyfriend) and I went to his best friend's wedding. We had just started dating in March and the wedding was in July. I remember that Sal invited in April. That was risky of him to ask-and we hoped we would still be together after four months. We are, thank goodness. We went to the service and reception; it was super-awkward because I didn't know many people and I really wanted to impress Sal's friends. I bought the most amazing dress, which I still have and am waiting to wear again. I also got the sexiest pair of silver heels to match. (I wore those maybe three times total.) We danced a lot and I remember relaxing as the evening wore on. It is one of those great memories one has when a relationship is young and new.
Coming up soon, we have Sal's brother's wedding. Again, I want to make a good impression. Even though I know everyone pretty well now, I think it's important to look sharp (plus, it's fun!) My girlfriend loaned me a gorgeous dress that's more appropriate for this reception. I tried the silver shoes with it, and they just don't match. I still had the box; they were from Chinese Laundry. I looked online and there's a ChineseLaundry.com. I went nuts. I loved so many of their selections. They are affordable, but I worry about ordering without trying them on. I hope their returns are speedy if they don't fit well.
