About Bliss:
My grandmother had always warned us of the effects of sun, wind, and dehydration on our skin. My female cousins and I would have to use lotion on our hands after every time we washed them. When we stayed over night at grandma's, she had us scrub our faces and then apply Vaseline at night. I'm horrified now to think that I put petroleum on my face as a child, but who knew? Her philosophy was a good one-to take precaution and use product. As I've been trying new cleansers and lotions, I realize that I am very interested in the ingredients. There are certain chemicals like parabens that I don't want to be using internally or externally.
What I'm finding is that most companies do not list entire range of ingredients in their products on their websites. There are a few that mention the good main ingredients or fillers, like BlissWorld.com. That line of products uses some healthy mixers, but I haven't been able to locate a place where I get an entire outline of everything in each skin cream, for example. But like I said, I've been hard-pressed to find out all the details in most products on most sites, unless I call directly to the company. In defense of this particular issue, I must mention that Bliss World's site is quite soothing as is their line of skincare. They offer everything from cleansers, moisturizers, serums, to anti-aging and repair for sun-damaged skin. It's a nice site.
