When kids are younger, their clothing doesn't matter to them so much. I mean, comfort of course plays a part, but I don't think they're as image conscious until they start going to school. Celebrity kids are always dressed and coiffed perfectly, but I don't think it's the youngster actually picking out the designs. I may be wrong, but at least from the experience in my house, the first few years whatever my children wore was either something I picked out or they were hand-me-downs. Actually I do remember the day my daughter declared her refusal to wear a certain item. My niece is a year older than my daughter and we got a lot of her clothes. Most of them were hot pink, pastels, brightly colored outfits in the reddish/pinkish shades. One morning before kindergarten, I was dressing my daughter in a hand-me-down from her cousin and she yelled, "No more pink!" It was hilarious. I didn't know she cared that much. To this day she still hasn't worn pink and that was about three years ago. There was a brand name store we used to shop at that had great deals and clothing made of 100% cotton. Over the past several years, I have noticed the quality decrease and the prices rise. I'm done with them. Now we shop on Primary.com. They have fabulous colors (other than pink), simple, classic styles, and unbeatable prices. The quality is superior as well. I was hoping they would soon carry larger sizes.
