On the home page, you can click on a short video that features some of the new items. It was interesting to watch. Threadless.com provides an opportunity for new artists to be discovered. From time to time there are different challenges to entice artists to interact with the website. Probably the most valuable section of the website is the forum. Artists have an opportunity to communicate with each other, to ask questions, give ideas, and just express themselves. The site also contains a blog that provides a lot of useful information as well.
Boo: It would be nice if Threadless.com had an "about us" section. Other than its one line slogan of making, supporting and buying great art, it's sort of confusing trying to understand the website. Also, I'm all for being creative, but thought it was a little cheesy when I placed an item in the shopping cart, and a funny little character popped up and said, "1 yummy item added to my carty belly".
