About Swarovski:
Swarovski.com is a designer and retailer of quality crystal used in jewelry, figurines, accessories and more.
Pros: Probably one of its greatest selling points is that Swarovski.com has a lengthy, excellent reputation known around the world. The founder, Daniel Swarovski, had a vision to "create a diamond for everyone." The company is known for its delicate crystal. It's a delicate material, which should always be handled with special care. Daniel invented a machine that could cut the glass very finely. What began with just making and selling jewelry later became a store with other Swarovski products. In the 1980s, the brick and mortar boutique began selling the new line of figurines. Over the decades, these beautiful glass pieces have become collector's items. All of their jewelry is traditionally crafted and is also quite delicate. (The metal is plated and each crystal is individually set.) Swarovski uses its crystals in necklaces, pendants, bracelets, key rings, car accessories, cardholders, and other products. The site also offers beautiful holiday decorations. We liked, in particular, the snowflake ornament designed after the movie "Frozen", which is a pretty light aqua color. There's also a Men's jewelry collection (although sparse compared to the women's) that has a couple of gorgeous cuff link sets. The blue stainless-steel ones are classy and the colored stone adds a nice touch to a white or other solid-colored shirt.
Cons: Although the Swarovski products are lovely to look at, if you have small children, pets, or are a bit clumsy with your jewelry or décor, the pieces can break quite easily. For some, the products can be too delicate or too costly.
