About Pink Queen:

Being a mom requires so much work. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying what every mother knows. And as the kids get older, it's less physical work; it becomes more of a mentally challenging job. You're always trying to help your child make smart decisions. But once they get older, they make their own decisions, whether you agree with them or not. For example, once they get into high school, you can't make them take a sport or play a particular instrument. You can help motivate them to stick with something, but if they decide they don't like it or don't want to do it, we can't "force" them. So I know my daughter is "virtuous." Well, as far as she's told me and from what I can assess. But she has a part-time job and with her earnings, she buys her own clothes. I think it's great movement towards independence, but I still want to somehow monitor her selections. Anyway, when she recently went online to order clothing, I asked if I could join (without judgment) just to see the nice, new things she planned to buy. I saw she went on PinkQueen.com. I can understand why she was perusing that site because they showcase a lot of trendy, appropriate styles. The problem I had was that you couldn't "zoom in" to see the exact look. I also didn't like that I had no idea from where the items were being shipped. And besides, the prices weren't a terrific bargain.
