My daughter is a shoe freak. She can barely get through the mall without stopping at each and every shoe shop. And if she leaves without a pair of sneakers or boots, we have to assume she is ill, because that would be so unlike her. This footwear collection began years ago when she began exploring my closet. I, too, must admit, am a lover of all things covering feet. I especially love boots and sandals. I don't care much for high heels (although I know my husband wishes I did.) I've seen their footwear before, but I wasn't aware until I went on their site that they've been around for over 75 years. I guess the rubber they use is the same durability as used in tires. They have really fun canvas sneakers. I love their high tops, so cute, and in bright colors. They have leather high tops too, but I have no idea how they would feel. I may order them anyway; their returns policy is great, which is good in case the shoe doesn't fit, no pun intended. The biggest shame is that they don't have any sandals in their collection.
