My favorite art supply as a kid was the 64-color box of Crayola crayons. I remember it had a built-in sharpener in the back of the box. I cherished that thing. I didn't share with anyone and I kept all the crayons in a certain color order. I wasn an only child-that may have had something to do with my compulsive and "selfish" behavior regarding that crayon box. Come to think of it, I was that way with most of my art supplies.

I also remember when washable markers came out. That was an amazing invention. My niece told me I should go online to Crayola.com if I ever wanted to get supplies because they offer fun discounts, etc. Actually, I had been wanting to go online anyway to see if their products were gluten-free. I'm still not sure; I know this can make a difference for some families. One thing I saw was a "create your own art chest" offer. Pick 5 items, to make a customized gift and then you get a free keepsake chest to put the stuff in. What's so funny is that they only give you 7 options. So, basically pick 5 of the 7. They should let you pick any 5 items, right? Also, there's a 15" tall crayon that weighs like 2 pounds. They call it the mega crayon. Are they serious? $25 for one crayon? I see there's one review; probably because only one fool spent that kind of money on something so ridiculous.
