Yikes, we found out we're having twins! I'd always day-dreamed about having twins or even being a twin, but I never thought it would really happen. I have another three months to go, even though I'm already humongous and exhausted, but we figured we better get everything in order sooner than later. We heard that sometimes twins are born prematurely and I definitely don't want them sleeping on the floor (or in our bed.) So the first thing we decided to look at were bassinets.

After looking at their selection, we actually optioned for portable cribs. We ordered two with two really nice mattresses. When the babies are little, they can share. This way, we can have one crib in the living room and one in their bedroom. I'm just afraid if I have to move a baby from one spot to another he might not fall back to sleep.

The other thing we bought was a double stroller. We got the Bugaboo, which is expensive, but it was less on BambiBaby than on other sites. We purchased these few items here, because we knew what we wanted and we thought it was too much to ask others at our shower. There are plenty of things we still need!

The one thing I did not like is that we had to pay extra for the color material on the stroller.
