For me, Express has always been one of those stores that the cool people shop at, and their website is no different. Opening up this page is like stepping into a boutique, where you can tell that every piece has been designed and curated with style in mind. I have always found Express stores a little intimidating, and the ability to shop online relieves that pressure and allows me to browse their selection without feeling absolutely out of place among the gorgeous models, staff, and shoppers.
Pros: The website is sleek and well organized, and designed with the same aesthetic as most of their merchandise, creating an overall cohesive theme. Their blog is perfectly on point, and glancing through the articles written by various experts gives a great window into current fashions, style ideas, and lifestyle tips for the stylish young shopper. Of course, their clothes are perfectly en-mode, which is a major plus, and the most important aspect of any store. Overall, this is a site where you can be sure to secure an outfit that is flattering and on-trend, and maybe learn a little something, too.
Cons: For me, it's an issue that things don't come in larger sizes. I can wear the shoes and other accessories, but most tops and absolutely all of the bottoms are completely out of the question. It seems strange that they would alienate so many potential clients by refusing to carry anything in a size extra-large, let alone have a plus-size section.
